Has anyone ever had this? Nobody seems ever to have heard of it.

I've had it for the past 3 months. It came on suddenly a few days after coming back from vacation this summer in Northern Michigan and returning to a normal schedule. The outsides of my ears look fat, fluid filled....not huge or anything but enough for myself and others to notice. My ears feel slightly plugged but several doctors have looked and said the insides look fine. If I get stressed out the outsides of my ears feel like they are pulsing, and get red more easily, but then once I calm down it goes away and they feel like they swell ever so slightly less. It is not due to infection, I've been on antibiotics with no improvement. Even the ENT doesn't know what it is. He says, "It's some kind of weird autoimmune thing." Also in the past 6 months I've had symptoms of allergies....plugged sinuses, nasal drainage down my throat, had a salivary gland stone removed, TMJ symptoms, and been placed on medication for acid reflux and I also have high blood pressure....but all of these after the ear swelling incident.

Anybody ever heard of this or have something similar?

Correction...the high blood pressure I've had for a few years. Also my ears get full of pressure really bad when driving in the car.
