I have a question about exposure and symptoms, 3 years ago I received oral sex unprotected and shared a crack pipe several times with an hiv person. I currently am experiencing thrush in the mouth, have a swollen lymph on the side of my neck under my jaw and pain beneath my armpit and behind my knee. I have heard that the swelling of lymphs related to hiv is painless, could the pain in my armpit and behind my knee be related to lymph swelling that i can't see or feel? Would the swelling throughout the body be noticable?
What do you think the likely hood and risk of my exposure? I have scheduled an appointment to be tested, but am very afraid.
