Im seventeen and I just recently started having sex with my boyfried. My first time only lasted about 15 mintues and it didn't hurt at all, until after I noticed I was swollen and I was also bleeding. When I used to bathroom I also realized it burned. The burning issue didn't last, but the swelling and bleeding lasted until the next day. My second time didn't hurt, until the end so we quit. This time it lasted about 30 to 45 mintues and I noticed swelling and bleeding right away. This was 2 days ago, the selling is gone but I'm still bleeding. Can someone please tell me if this is normal?? Ive been on birth control for over 3 weeks and we don't use condoms . Any help would be very appricated. Thankss.

The bleeding can be from your hymen tearing. It is quite possible that it can happen a couple of times.

Having intercourse (penis in vagina) for 30 or more minutes does not sound right. That is extremely long and will cause burning and swelling. Or do you mean your session lasted that long? Intercourse normally does not last more than 10 minutes, often much shorter. The rest of the time is spent on foreplay which can include fingering, oral sex, massage, kissing, rubbing, breastplay etc. Your vagina is very sensitive and cannot handle the friction and heat for that long. Your boyfriend may be suffering from delayed ejaculation if it really lasts that long.

Make sure you are well 'warmed up' with plenty of foreplay.
Use a water or silicone based personal lubricant. And top up regularly.
Shorten the intercourse part of sex.
You may be allergic to his fluids, although that is not very likely
Make sure you do not have an infection. A strange discharge, or smell is normally a good sign of problems.

If it continues,seek medical help.

Best of luck!
