I got the top of my ear pierced (cartilage) 3 days ago, on the 2nd day when I woke up my ear had got swollen and red. My ear has been swollen and red since then, it still hurts a little bit, but thats normal. I have been using a ear spray that was given to me when i got them pierced, I was instructed to spray once at the back and once on the front of the piercing 3 to 4 times a day. Also my ear was pierced with a Stud Gun.

I was wondering...

•Is it normal for the swelling and redness, and it will eventually go away?

•Or if its not normal, how do i get rid of it, without having to take the earring out?

Thanks

Sounds like it is trying to get infected. You might be allergic to the earring itself...

How is it now?
