Q: Swelled lymph nodes under the chin and behind the ear
asked by: DoctorQuestion on August 19th, 2008
My question is concerning my husband. He has two bumps on the underside of his chin. They are very sore to touch and are preventing him from moving his head in the usual manor. He also has a small bump just behind his ear towards the back of his neck that is also giving him problems. He doesn't like dr's or going to see them, what could be the cause of these? Can you give me some idea so I may look up information. Maybe with enough information I can conveince him to go to a dr. I'm really really worried. Please help.

The 2 bumps on the underside of his chin and the small bump behind his ear could be swelled lymph nodes.

If your husband has these bumps for a long time he should ask for doctor's help as soon as possible.
