I have a feeling this is due to stress, thats why I have posted in this thread, but I am really not sure, so it could be related to something different.

I don't want to go into to many details or I'm afraid no one will want to read it all, so I'll just stick to the basics.

Every night now at around 7PM, I am overwhelmed with this feeling of fear and anxiety. It never fails, every night it just hits me in the middle of a movie, or while I'm eating, or playing a game.. Then after about an hour of this horrible feeling, I get extremely tired out of nowhere and fall asleep, then when I wake up about 45 minutes to 1 and 1/2 hours later, I am completely drenched in sweat, with drops pouring down my face and chest, and my entire body wet, and cold.

I don't get this during my normal sleeping hours, just during this nap after these fear attacks. My house is the same temperature all day, and I sleep with the same cloths in nap as my normal sleep, and I use the same sheets. So its not a heat problem or clothing problem.

So I'm not exactly sure what my question is. What do you think this is? Does this sound familiar to anyone? Stress? Or something else?

I had a blood test done about a year ago and they said I don't have diabetes, so that should rule that out I think. I've been dealing with anxiety for years, but its just especially frightening this month.

I have a doctors appointment on the 4th, and my first appointment with a psychiatrist on the 7th, so please don't post just to suggest those things. :)

Also, I have changed my diet a little due to stress, started drinking soda again and eating a little bit junkier, which might cause something, but I don't know why it would only effect me at night.

I take no legal or illegal drugs.
