can someone tell me what does SUV value = 4 means ..??. My father has got a PET
test done . taht has findings of SUV = 4

The "Standard Uptake Values" (SUV) determine whether or not a particular area of the body that is seen on a PET scan is likely to represent cancer. An SUV of 4 would be considered, by most Nuclear Medicine doctors, to be a positive PET scan.
