okay i've been suspecting that my on and off boyfriend of 5 years is bipolar. I care about him and love him deeply. At times he can be the nicest guy to me but there are times he starts a fight for no reason. He will do something on purpose, so that i will get mad, and then starts the arguments. He told me one time that he starts kidding around with me and I will argue back with him, It gets in his head, he would forget that he was kidding around with me actually will get mad for no reason. He's not the nicest person to his mother or his sister. Him and his dad aren't that close neither. I know when he was little his dad would always make comments about his weight, because he was chunky, He would make fun of him and call him names. I know that did scare him. Sometimes i get tired of it and want to leave him then he'll start crying and get emotional and say he wont pick a fights just because. We are sexually active and we have sex about everyday. So his sex drive is pretty high. Also his sleeping patters are kinda weird. He will got to sleep late wake up early and take naps in the late afternoon. Sometimes if he doesnt he gets irritated easily and gets mad. When ever we do take a break he wouldnt eat. He only eats like once a day. He would also abuse drugs and alchoal. But now that were back together he will eat 3-4 times a day and doesnt do drugs and cut down on drinking. I'm not sure what this all means or if im just over reacting but it can stress me out so any answers????

okay let me start off by saying that the first sign that your boyfriend is going to treat you bad is if he treats his mom bad. any guy who treats his mom bad is deffinatly going to treat you like crap. it sounds to me like he is bipolar and im pretty sure your no over reacting have you tried telling him to go see a therapist but then again i could see how that would make him even angrier maybe hes ADHD?? try talking to him and telling him how you feel and tell him what the consequences are if he doesnt start attemting to control his anger/sex drives/attitude ect.
