Hi,

My husband and I are exploring the possibility of surrogacy so we can have a baby. I have been doing alot of research online but had a question that I do not see addressed anywhere.

Do surrogate mothers abstain from having sex with their husbands while they are trying to conceive a baby for the intended parents?

I saw a story where that actually happened to a surrogate who says she had sex with husband and even though she said they used a condom, she still got pregnant by her husband but thought it was by the intended father.

This worries me, as we would not be going through the trouble of using a surrogate if we did not want to ensure that the baby is biologically my husbands.

Does anyone know what the rules are on this?

Thanks!
