About a year ago, I had an Arthrocentecis due to my jaw locked in place (to the point where I couldn't eat). It worked for a while but I ended up with a full Arthroplasty in November 2011 to re-position the cartilage and stitch it back in place. I have had numerous followups with my Oral surgeon, but I am still in pain to this day with limited opening and pain. Is this normal? Is it something like arthritis that I will deal with for the rest of my life?
