Well in short, I went surfing for roughly
14 hours, and only came in to shore
because I was so fatigued, that I could
barely stay on the board.
One week after this, I am getting
extreme!! pain in my left shoulder blade
when I use the muscle in that area. This
muscle is used when laying down(and
getting up), lifting any object, or even
resting against a table or wall. Hell, I
can't even rotate my upper-body to the
left or right...
I've been lifting items and using these
muscles up until yesterday, with some mild
stinging - note worthy, but nothing like
it is now. Another thing that might be
worth noting - Right after i got home from
surfing, I had trouble breathing(or
expanding my chest fully, rather), because
pain in the same location stopped me from
completely inhaling air. And now the pain
is back, but MUCH much worse. It is
concentrated in the left shoulder blade,
upper back, near the spine. When I push on
it with my hands, it feels VERY tender,
and it is most definitely originating from
the muscle(not bone or anything..). It
seems to relax a bit(no more than a minute
after however) if I massage it.
Does anyone know what could be going on?
(Torn muscles.. etc? Cause i havent a
clue)
