hi..i had sex on the time of my periods (august 19), slowly i got most of the symptoms of pregnancy...but i'd still got my periods on next month (sep)
so i went for the checkup...i did ultrasound n doc laughed n said nothing is there in my stomach..she gave me advice to walk daily to burn my belly fats n tiredness...i was upset to know my presumption was wrong.. she asked me to wait n see wheather i get my periods on usual date,so i waited till next month..but my periods started very late almost after 44 days,so i removed this notion of being pregnant..n this month(dec) have not started yet it has stopped ...now i can feel very slight movements,lub-dub sound of heart movement below my belly button when i keep my hands there ...also peculiar pain when i wear jeans or get tense/stress...im very much sure im carrying...can u explain me why i got periods twice? also how old is my baby now?i was into lot of stress those days just to knw wats happening wid me.
Welcome to ehealthforum,
The symptoms that you describe could suggest chances of pregnancy. Few women can continue to experience period like bleeding during the first few months of pregnancy at the expected period time also known as decidual bleeding. If pregnancy is suspected, look out for development of any other new symptoms suggestive of pregnancy. If you suspect chances of pregnancy, consider visiting your doctor/gynecologist at the earliest for thorough examination (to confirm pregnancy related changes/signs in body) and blood/serum HCG level test (to confirm/rule out pregnancy accurately). If pregnancy gets confirmed, consider getting serial HCG levels estimated. Doubling up of the hormone levels in 48-72 hours will show that pregnancy is going on smoothly. An ultrasound scan done will also help to confirm gestational age of fetus/baby along with fetal wellbeing and viability.
