My skin is very sensitive & tans very fast. I am the only one around with freckles. Earlier, a skin specialist advised me sunscreen PABALAK(Para-amino Benzoic Lotion) which was very effective for my skin. Any other sunscreen that I use, I start sweating & the sunscreen is off my face within minutes. The problem is I am not able to find this PABALAK lotion anymore. Is there any alternate that I can use.

Hello,
Welcome to the ehealthforum and I am really glad to help you out.

Para-aminobenzoic acid (PABA) is a naturally occurring substance that is often used in sunscreen products. But a FDA report published in 1989 stated that a PABA ester component decomposed to a known carcinogen, despite any real proof that PABA in sunscreen was associated with cancer.

I suggest you to use other sunscreens instead which are PABA free.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
