No, not horray, because i have VERY light skin, and it was VERY sunny and hot out and i now have a really red sunburn and it HURTS!!! Sad i have it bacicially EVERYWHERE and so is there anything i can do at home about it?

sorry to hear that. knowing that you have very light skin you should be more smart about things like that. don't stay in the sun to long because for 1 it can cause severe sun burns. if you want a tan try using some products like the lotion or something.

i'm the SAME way dear...i learned the hard way that I just dont tan...period...you definitely need to keep some sunblock on so you dont get skin cancer later on, as for the burn there is this AMAZING stuff I use..its called Ocean Potion Aloe lotion...its VERY soothing for burns and unlike that usual aloe crap it doesn't stick when you put your clothes on haha...its great go get some! Also, For tanning, go out and buy tan lotion! I use it just so i'm not so white in the summer..its also great, they have PLENTY available but Ive found that the neutrogena foam works best for me...you have to be careful though bc it can make your hands look like an oompa loompa if you dont wash them hahahahah..just think positive too, when we're older, we wont have tanned leathery wrinkly skin, it will still look beautiful! :)hope i helped!

oh..another thing..when I'm at the dermatologist, i always see this one poster..it has 2 women on it, one has a picture of a woman that was careful about how much sun exposure she had, the other side had a picture of a woman that lived her life mostly outdoors...the woman that had less sun exposure was 25 years OLDER than the woman that lived her life outdoors though you would NEVER guess that by looking at the picture..the woman with too much sun exposure...eh...didn't age so gracefully....so, embrace your paleness and be thankful!

Becuase I'm ignorant and ethnocentric, when you said 30....I thought you meant Fahrenheit, and thought you were INSANE for tanning in that weather. Heh.

Slather that Aloe Vera all over your body. I used to lifeguard, and I am Hitler's wet dream (blonde haired, blue eyed, VERY light skin) and would frequently forget SPF.

I bet you would get a decent tan with SPF 30 if you're light skinned.

Sorry honey- I know it sucks.
