Summer!

It’s summertime! Cool

Does anyone have any fun plans they’d like to share? Vacations? Summer goals? What are you going to be doing now that school is over and the sun is out?

Summer Time...mmmm...i love it!

Well im in Phoenix,AZ so the summertime here isnt very fun. Unless you are in the water. So I plan to go tubing down the Salt River and maybe go to the water park with the kids (siblings) Since I am 6 months pregnant right now I dont think I will be able to do everything I usually do. Like ride the big water slides and such. But summer for us is the time to go camping, swimming, have BBQ's, and go on weekend trips.

We usually go camping up north. Like Flaggstaff, Payson, Strawberry. Mostly where its cool. Our plans are a little different this year.

We have already hit the beach in CA.
This weekend we are going to Lee, NV to my grandmothers ranch. Her ranch is 45 mins from any town. Its gonna be amazing.
We will go tubing and to a water park.
We have 2 camping trips to make up in Payson. One with the kids and one with friends.
We also have a trip to Slide Rock.

Im sure there will be many other little things we do, but these are the plans for sure...

So there you have it. My main goal is to have fun being pregnant in 115 degree weather and to try to have fun camping and being as big as a house....LOL

This summer, I have a lot going on! First off the day after i graduate from High School, which is May 30th, im going to New York For 4 days. yes Im going to see some Broadway plays and going to shop around a little. Then when i get back in town I have to find a part time job, to make some extra money. I also have to go take a billion text for college, which i will be starting this coming fall. The first week in September Im going to Myrtle Beach with my brother, his family and a couple friends. Were getting a condo! So that should be fun! Im very excited about this summer, but after september, I will be very busy starting community college and then going to nursing school! I know the summer will fly by like always!

I love summer! Woooh!

I don't know what I'm going to be doing yet. Probably a lot of babysitting/nannying. Maybe take a course or two.

I thought about taking classes, but I didn't want to pay for them just yet. Smile

I'll be working a lot but I'm currently at one of my jobs so obviously thats not so bad. hehe I hope to make it home every once in awhile and that's when I'll get most of my outdoor activities in.

My goal for the summer is mainly to learn how to cook! I also hope to make it outside a lot more than I did last summer so I'm hoping to get into running outside rather than in a gym like I usually do. Now if only we had an outdoor 25 yard pool then I'd be set!

Oh man, cooking is great. If you find any good recipes let me know!! I love love love cooking and/or baking, but can only do it if I follow recipes exactly.

I used to be a member of a gym last year but its ridiculously expensive here (all gyms are around 80-180 a month. last year my membership was a christmas present).

Now if I want to exercise I usually walk/run around the track which we have around a lake at the park. I also have yoga and pilates dvds that I enjoy a lot.

Same here, but my goal is to learn recipes and then when I'm comfortable with that I'm going to make my own up. I'll let you know if I find anything good.

My dad and boyfriend cook but only for a hobby, I think it's a fun thing to learn especially since i barely know anything about it now. Smile

Yeah my ex was sooo dedicated to his culinary classes and work. He was a slave during his midterms and all that. It was fun though because he made his homework into some of our dates. Like making his own soups and rating different restuarants. I got to be his guinea pig. But yes its great how passionate cooks are. Dont worry all the hard work will pay off for him.
