Q: Suggesting a diagnosis - peroneal tendon subluxation

I've had a problem with my ankle for over a year now and been to several doctors who all were unable to give me a diagnosis or solution. After my last visit with an orthopedic surgeon, I did some research on my own and found the diagnosis of peroneal tendon subluxation in no time. It all seems to fit perfectly. I'll be going back to see the surgeon as soon as I can, (I'm a college student so it may be a month or so) but I want to suggest this to him without undermining his qualifications. Is there a good way to go about offering a solution that should have been found a long time ago without being disrespectful?

Well take in some pages off the internet about this condition and just simply say i was so worried i decided to do some research on the net and this is what i found what do you think doctor?....If he/she is a good doctor they wouldn't take offence they would see it as eagerness to find out what is wrong with you..Jenny
