I recently stopped having sugar in my diet and started using sweetner, now i heard that both are fuel for my gout, is this true ?

Yes that is true sugar as well as sweetner are both inhibitors for gout. As you know gout is caused by the build up of uric acid in the joints. Foods such as red meat, sugar, alcohol and whit flour feeds on the acid. Try replacing those foods with fish, lean chicken and cherries and strawberries. Also you can soak your foot for 20 minutes in cold tea. Hope this helps.

Water , lots of water stops pain !
Drink lots of WATER , it get rid of uric acid , lots of pee less uric acid !
