I have been off the Lexepro for about 2 months now. Not by choice but, by a major screw up with my RX carrier. I am on Depakote extended release thank goodness. But, I see so much of a difference without my Lexepro now. I am depression every day for some reason or another. Can't seem to shake it. Just about everything and anything puts me right into tears. I know once I am back on my Lexepro I will feel much better. My Aetna RX takes effect Feb 1st, if I can make it till then.

Just felt like venting. No replies needed.

Dear Mellissa
It takes courage to talk about your feelings and you should be proud of yourself. I myself suffer from depression and was put on zoloft. Now in no way am I encouraging you to go my route, but I had just couldnt take the way the pills were making me feel not like me anymore. I stopped and meditate and excercise daily. Again, not suggesting anything but providing you with hope and postivity. A mood journal also helped me, I write how I feel daily on a scale of 1-10 and write three postive things no matter how hard it was to find even one....I read back my journal after a year and saw a pattern in the way I was thinking negatively about everything. Just try this along with your meds if needed and I wish you all the love and luck.
