Suffering From Headaches

Hello On May 2 2010 I was rushed to the hospital 2 weeks later i woke Up the docters said I had strep menigitis and Pneomia and also a stroke due the mengitis i was in the hopital about 3 12 weeks since then i have been in and out the hospital but my major complaint is the headaches i have severe headaches everyday that make my life miserable the docters say this is normal and give it time it as now been a year and here i am still suffering is there anything that can be done i have been on so meds nothing works please help I feel hopeless and depressed,,
