I have been suffering from chronic bronchitis and asthma attacks for past year. I have been on antibiotics and steroids of and on, and have taken many trips to ER were I am usually given several albuterol treatments or solumedrol. When I am taking the meds I am fine the minute my meds are done I start feeling sick again and the bronchitis re-occurs. I do take a symbiacort 2 puffs twice a day and a pro-air inhaler 4 times a day and as needed. It does eleviate some discomfort but I have noticed my stamina slowly decreasing, to the point I am unable to walk on treadmill, and I use to walk at a brisk pace for 40mins-1hr, sometimes even running. I am scheduled to see a pulmonaligist and I want to know what questions I should be asking, and what could be the cause of these symptoms. I was a heavy smoker 1 pack a day for 12 years and I quit November 17, 2008.
