Hi,
Welcome to the ehealthforum. I am really glad to help you out. If you have had sexual intercourse in the recent past, the possibility of pregnancy is definitely there. The spotting which you are having can possibly be due to implantation bleeding. I would suggest you to get your serum HCG levels estimated since this is a more specific test than urine for pregnancy test. The HCG (it is a hormone) levels rise only in pregnancy and its presence will confirm the status of your pregnancy. An ultrasound of the uterus will also assist in ruling out pregnancy.

I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
