I was at work 2 days ago and I was fine talking to a coworker of mine and suddenly the left side of my body got heavy. I vission got fuzzy and everyhting got far away. I almost lost my balance and had to lean against the wall for a couple of minutes. I had a really bad shooting pain in my head for a couple of seconds. I talked to a few people and they say the symptoms fit for a stroke. I'm 18 and I'm slightly overweight. So I was just wondering.

This is something that can only be determined by a doctor...To be on the safe side you may want to check it out....You could also use the "Ask a Doctor" at the top of the page, however, there answer may be the same...It is difficult making a judgement without checking some information......and only a doctor could do this...

These can also be symptoms of a migraine (aura). Not all migraine headaches mean excruciating pain, but you definitely should get it checked with a doc.
