Q: Sudden right upper back pain

HI my fiancee is currently on a ferry journey and not due to dock for a few hours, he has contacted me to say he is agony on the right upper part of his back and into his shoulder. It came on relativley quickly and he is in absolute agony. Does anyone know what it maybe even a possiblity. Its not a muscualr pain as he was just normally walking along when it occured.

i have heard of pinched nerves and use of muscle relaxants to remedy this problem

its best that he sees a doctor to get a few second opinions.

some upper body exercise should also work out the kinks in the situation or at least determine if it is muscular or skeletal.
