Hello, I suffer with health anxiety and also have some acid reflux, so am used to nausea generally. Last few days have had sudden nausea, firstly when I burped but then just at random times in the day. It comes in a sudden wave of nausea, like you want to vomit and goes in a couple of seconds. This has worried me I havn't noticed this before. Is it a sign of something serious? Just acid reflux or anxiety? Please help am so worried and afraid of vomiting. Thanks

Extremely eHealthy
Chronic nausea that is repetitively occurring through the day, lasting for weeks and even months, it is usually attributed to GERD or acid reflux.
This is more common with severe case of acid reflux.
Acid reflux and anxiety are co-occurring conditions that fuel each other.
It is important to get checked for a peptic ulcer, too.

Best wishes!
Marija
