hello
I am a healthy 38 female.
over the past couple of years i have had these strange things happen where i suddenly go very dizzy, my eyes start jumoing around so i can't focus and then my brain just seems to shut down for a second, like a brain zap, everything goes black and i lose consiousness for a second or longer. i either regain consiousness during my fall to the ground or when i actually get there.

i always fall to my knees, not backwards or to the side, like a typical faint.

I then slip in and out of consiousness several times and witness have described that it looks as though I am having electrical shocks put through me.

i am being treated for a panic disorder, which i personally don't think it is.

the black out fit thingies have caused me to become very anxious however , so i am happy to be taking something to calm me down.

This is effecting my life. I can't afford not to work, but i am struggling to get there.

There doesn't seem to be any common denominating factors. they seem to come out of the blue and can happen anywhere.

Any clues anybody?

regards

i have had the same thing happen to me. i start to lose my vision and hearing, then i just sit down and black out, it only last for a few minutes, and my peripheral vision was gone for about an hour after that. i got checked for it and they said i could be dehydrated or even low sugar level if you can get a glucose checker from the drug store for about $20, next time it happens check your sugar. normal is 80-100. hopefully that helped you.
