I was diagnosed with bronchitis a week or two after your response thanks [http://ehealthforum.com/health/i-have-to- breathe-heavily-or-i-do-a-heavy-cough-t308 744.html]. But I still have a problem, I think I still have the bronchitis although it was not as severe such as what I had before \"I have to breathe heavily or else I do a heavy cough.\" but instead I find it hard to have a satisfactory feeling from when you breathe in deep enough, it just feels like theirs a boundary and to some extent I can feel/notice when I breathe because I am struggling for air. What should I do now?

Hello and welcome to e health forum.

From the history provided, it seems that you have recovered from a severe bout of ‎bronchitis and could be having symptoms due to residual inflammation.

Such ‎inflammation of the airway presents as dry, cough in ‎paroxysms which can persist for 3-8 weeks after one ‎recovers from any viral infection.

Management of such symptoms is conservative with nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medications (ibuprofen, naproxen), aspirin, or acetaminophen (Tylenol) can help to relieve the pain.

Heated, humidified, air can improve symptoms of cough and bronchial irritation.

Cough suppressant medications have not been shown to be helpful for most patients.

In case, you do have difficulty in breathing, wheezing or airflow obstruction, Inhaler medications which help in bronchodilation can be helpful, which will require a doctors prescription.

I hope this helps.
