Argh i have these too, on the inside of my thighs. I swear i read some where that you get them from weight loss, but to me that doesn't make sense. Any information would be great. If anyone has found anything that helps reduce them please let me know!

(I purchased a lotion that is suppose to reduce the appearance, its called Palmers cocoa butter formula massage lotion for stretch marks)

ThankS!

Yes weight loss can cause stretch marks. Doesnt make that much sense but from what I know any kind of loss or gain thats quick or sudden can cause the skin to have stretch marks. Its when your body goes up or down quikly. Your body skin cant go as fast as your weight.

At least thats what happens to me. I lost maybe 15 pounds in about 1 month and now I have stretch marks on the outside of my thighs. Then when I gained that weight back I got a few more in the same spots.

Also during puberty I got a lot on my breasts. I went from flat chested to a C cup in a matter of months and that gave me stretch marks. Also when I lost 15 pounds later on in life the stretch marks on my breasts got worse.

Hope that asnwers your questions. I am 20 wks pregnant and I too have been researching stretch marks. So far I have learned that there really isnt much you can do. It more or less has to do with your genetics.

Thanks for the reply. I guess that would explain why i have them then, i did lose a significant amount of weight fast my sophomore year in high school (i am now a sophomore in college) they just seem to be getting worse Sad but i guess their isn't much i can do about it but keep using this lotion and hope that it might lessen the appearance a bit.
