Stress or other mental issues can cause symptoms like chest pains but before blaming the stress you may request several medical tests to exclude any heart or lung disorder. You can request a clinical examination, ECG, chest X-ray, lung functional tests, etc. The possibility for you to be having a heart attack is likely to be very small, almost none. If everything appears okay the only possibility left is stress.

You may consult your GP about the tests I mentioned.
