My boyfriend who is bi-polar is under a lot of stress with family problems, court problems and money. He was up all night and he was shaking, drowzy and wouldn't go to sleep. He kept talking about all of his problems. He was very hostile and wouldn't listen to anyone. He is taking his Abilify in am and Seroquel in pm along with a benzo during the day. The meds do help him but why was it so bad last night? He has been manic it seems for like 3 months. It hasn't been this bad for about 2 months. Will this ever stop? =/

my experience
i've got this bad a few times and it's always been after times of large amounts of stress. i would personally try get him to a professional psychiatrist which will probably seem impossible but it sounds like he has hit mania at it's highest. psychosis appears to be present also.
