Q: Stress and Confidence Questionnaire

Hello! I'm doing my dissertation on stress and confidence in exams. I've found many research articles that talk about the Stress Appraisal Measure questionnaire (SAM) but am unable to find a copy of it. If anyone could offer direction on this it would be very much appreciated. Obviously I would email to get permission before using or adapting it.

I have also been finding it hard to find any of examples of questionnaires about exam confidence. If anyone could help with this too it would be very much appreciated.

Many thanks

Stephanie

Sorry Stephanie - I don't have a copy. Have you tried commercial test publishers to get copies of he scales you seek? Also, is it essential that you use an already published scale? Perhaps as part of your research you could develop and validate a stress scale yourself. This is not a complex issue and you would then have a chance to examine and prove the psychometrics of your scale. Makes for a more powerful understanding of the dependent variable (stress or self-efficacy for examination success).

Best wishes
