I went to the dentist for a Root Canal and was prescribed several courses of antibiotics: Two courses of Amoxicillin and one course of Penicillin. I then developed a bad sore throat with white spots on tonsils. Went to my physician and was tested for strep with neg results and was prescribed yeat another antibiotic Augmentin. I got worse after 5 days and had to go to clinic. Was given another strep test which came out positive and am now on clindamycin. Could my immune system be comprimised by using all those courses of antibiotics? Can I suffer effects from this? I'm very concerned!
