I have have this happen to me twice now in
the past year. So far, it is the worst
pain I have felt in my life. I can't
compare it to giving birth just yet;
haven't made it that far... The first
time it happened I remember I leaned back
in my chair at work to stretch and when I
came back up and swallowed it felt like
something in my throat had tangled or
something. Everytime I would swallow it
would feel like it would get tighter. It
hurt more every swallow. It didn't feel
like a lump or anything. It lasted maybe
3 mins. and then it felt like something
had moved over or clicked and the pain
went away. The second time I was at home
and I might have turned my head a certain
way, I can't remember, but I freaked my
husband out. I sat straight up with my
eyes as wide as they could be. I told him
we needed to go to the ER. It was
seriously that intense. Then like before
something just kind of clicked in my
throat and the pain went away. I have
told a lot of people and no one has ever
heard of anything like that. I absolutely
never want to have that feeling again. I
get scared to swallow sometimes when I
stretch or turn my head a certain way. If
anyone knows what is going on, please tell
me. Thanks!
