Strange feeling after ejaculation Posted: 04-01-08 22:00pm
Firstly I will state that I have only ever
had one sexual partner, and wore a condom
every time we had intercourse. We never
had Oral sex. There has never been a time
where I have had sex unprotected
Yet every now and again (not all the
time), after masturbation or intercourse I
will get a pain emerge between just below
my testicles. Inbetween my anus and
testicles.
It feels quite like a muscular pain and
disappears soon after, usually an hour or
so.
There are no symptoms other than this, and
it only occurs every now and again, so Im
pretty sure it can't be an STI?
Any ideas what might be causing this?

Do you, also, experience painful urination
and frequent need to pass urine?
Have you noticed that psychological stress
and depression are associated with
experiencing pain in perineum (area
between testicles and anal opening)?

No I don't have any pain urinating
normally, and dont have a frequent need to
pass urine.
Its just the pain in my perineum, post
ejaculation. Im really sure it cant be an
STI as I havn't ever been unsafe in sex
once so theres been no opportunity for
anything to come about, however its
associated with my sexual organs so I
thought this the best place to ask.

Do you, also, experience pain in the
pelvis, lower back, and genitalia? Is this
pain mostly located at the base of your
penis and around anal opening?
Have you tried pain killers such as
paracetamol or ibuprofen, before sexual
activities?
Are you experiencing any degree of
erectile dysfunction?
It sounds like you are having Chronic
Pelvic Pain Syndrome. The reason for this
condition is not well established, but, a
spasmodic hyperirritability of the pelvic
floor musculature is one of the possible
causes. Other, often, mentioned causes are
nerve problems in the prostate, tiny cysts
or stones in the prostate, partial
blockage of fluid made in the prostate.
You should visit urologist to test an
urine and prostate's secretion samples.
