Q: Strain on side of shaft

Hi, I wasn't sure how to describe it in the title of the thread. At the base of my penis, on the left side, I have a strain it seems. When it is erect, I feel pain there when I move it or when it pushes against underwear. Otherwise when not erect, there is no pain at all and don't notice this "strain". It's on the outside of the shaft (I mean still under the skin of course). I may have injured it masterbating, I'm not sure, but I don't recall any overstrenuous or violent work. Maybe I got unlucky with one movement. On the original occasion, there was swelling of my penis but curiously more at the end and it seemed to be the skin swollen. Anyway, the pain is strickly on the foundation of the shaft on one specific strand I could say.

I went around 2 weeks without masterbating and I discovered the problem was still there on my recent tries. Any details on this or how long I should wait?

Thanks a lot guys, you do a great job around here. These forums are great.

Ok, I did not engage in activity for 2 weeks plus since the last time I had pain. I got an erection from a dream for the first time since and felt pain.

The pain is on the whole of my left side. Sometimes I feel strain on head of penis too. The strain has reappeared and I can definately feel a difference between then two sides of my penis even unerect.

If someone can help diagnose that would be great. Thanks guys.

Hey, I saw a doctor around a month ago, and he diagnosed it as an inflammed prostate (comfirmed by check)! It was probably touching the nerves of the penis.

Since then, I have been taking antibacterial meds and the pain has dimished gradually (not completely healed yet)! The moral of this post is "go see a doctor"! They can help. I did not trust them, and was also shy about a genital problem but don't worry, they see these things everyday. There is really nothing to worry about. They like the human body and genitals are an important part, I am sure it is important for them too to heal such areas.

Finally, the reason I'm posting is that I had a really long masturbation session yesterday and now my penis is swollen. I was wondering if it common for swelling after long session like that or if I should think it is related to my other problem.
