Q: Stopping pain and itching ?

I have a question if anyone could help me i am only 18 and i just found out i got herpes today, Does anyone know how i can make my break out go away quicker or stop the itching? Also should i take Valtex or can i just bare with my break out because i have a problem with taking pills? Also how long till the blisters will break? Thanks
