I have been up in the air about getting pg, I finally decied that i was ready. I took my bc for about a week and a half and the stopped. We have had unprotected sex everyday since. I spotted on the 17th and 18th. I had my last period on the 5th through the 9th. I should get my period on the 3rd through the 7th. I also found out in june that i had chlamydia. I had it treated and its gone but i know that left untreadted it could cost infertility. I don't know how long i had it. I have been having cramping like i am going to start my period for the last 5 to 7 day. I also have had back and neck aches and my breast have been tender for like 2. Could i be pregnant and when can i take a pg test. Please help. Thanks. Also if there are other people out there ttc, please feel free to e-mail me. I would love to be able to talk to other out there and just share our stuggels.

Since you've recently come off the pill, it could just be symptoms of that rather than pregnancy. It can take a little while for your body to adjust to not being on the pill anymore therefore taking a little longer to conceive than you would like.

If you get your first 'normal' period after you stop the pill then it means you are ovualting again and if you don't, don't worry about it you will ovulate again soon. Some woman find they get their periods straight away others find that they have to wait a couple of months.

Since you're close to getting your period, I would wait and see if that arrives, if not wait 7 days and then take a test. Then wait another 7 days and retake the test to confirm the results.

I came off the pill feb 09 and got pregnant within 5-6 months but I lost that pregnancy. Most couples who come off the pill get pregnant within 6 to 12 months.
