Q: Stopped jolessa

Me and my fiance are trying for a baby! I finished my white pills and just didnt start my new pack of pills and my periods were normal before i started taking jolessa about 3 years ago. How soon would it be before i could get pregnant? Is it possible i could be pregnant now? Ive been off the pills for about 3 weeks now and we have had unprotected sex a few times within them 3 weeks. What are the chances? Anyone eles have any luck of getting pregnant right after stopping their birth control? Thanks sunny

It usually take a while for fertility to return after being on hormonal birth control for a long time. But you could be the exception to the rule.

Well i have tested twice and both were negative but i did just get off bc pills mid april but still havent bled at all not even a drop!

You have only been off the birth control for a month. It takes a while for a woman's body to go back to normal.

it says on jolessa you can get prego even if you miss 2 pills, but then it also says that if you had an abnormal period before starting jolessa that it could take longer. but you have to wait till after your first missed period to take your prego test or it will show neg anyway. So just wait it out a few more days...also, if you are engaged, why not just wait it out a couple more months till after you are married...or speed up the wedding so you are married before you have the baby?

Off of Jolessa

I too got off Jolessa. My last cycle was on 28AUG09. Hubby and I started trying unprotected sex 11SEP09 and few times after that. It is now 30SEP09. I should be having my period this week but not showing any pregnancy or "my cycle is coming" symptom. Should I hold off taking the pregnancy test?
