Q: stopped bc or pregnant?

I have been on Yaz birth control for about 2 years until I stopped taking it in November. My last period was around Thanksgiving (November 27). My long term boyfriend and I had unprotected sex in mid December. We used the "pull out" method. I also went to my obgyn the day before Christmas Eve to get my birth control prescription and an annual and they did a urine test to make sure I wasn't pregnant and that turned out fine. Yet I still haven't gotten my period and I'm freaking out. The only sign I've had is sore and tender breats which started a few days ago, but I also get that when I'm about to start my period. Please give me some input or whether you think I'm pregnant or could be pregnant based on what I said. I'm not sure if I could be pregnant or if my period is late due to hormonal changes with getting off of birth control. Thanks so much!

It sounds more like a hormonal imbalance from getting off birth control.

Can I assume you haven't started your next pack yet?

Since it has been two weeks since you tested last, try again. If you are pregnant, it should be positive at this point.

i'm new but i'll answer just because i was on a similar pill then Yaz (but the european version since i'm french). I stopped the birthcontrol the first time i got my period 3days after like usual but 3months after still didn't have anything and i wasn't pregnant (even though i has some kind of nausea and stuff), got pills from the doctor to get period back which worked partialy, after that no period for over 6 months so went to see another doctor and he told me i wasn't ovulated and that the birth control pretty much fuc**d me up.

I know some girls might take a few more weeks to get their period back after stopping the birthcontrol, i can go up to 3 months and be complitely normal, talk about it to you doctor if it doesn't come back soon

you know what that exactly how it is for me like i stopped taking my birthcontrol pill in nov. 2007 and didnt have a period til feb.08 and then in june.08 which was exaclty the last period ive had since. And i have tooken a pregnancy test b4 and it came out negative and i dnt know what else it could be?
