the list of symptoms of food allergies goes on and on and on.
The general public has misconceptions about food allegies and think that, if you don't feel anything after a meal you're OK, or that you need to show some sign or symptom but that, too, is a misconseption, or, even if you feel something like gallbladder problems, or diabetes, or liver problems it is rarely associated with allergies, and yet..........
On the initial exposure to an allergen the body is shocked and doesn’t yet know how to cope with the attack, except for the adrenalin output. Thus the allergen produces an alarm reaction. For instance, the first cigarette a person smokes causes coughing, sneezing, dizziness, possible nausea etc, ALARM.
After the initial shock the smoker will adapt, and will react less severe each time the person smokes.
The body has found some way to cope with the allergen and toxins. This is the stage of ADAPTATION.
The worst symptoms are masked and absorbed by body organs.
Stage Three, EXHAUSTION is eventually reached for all and this stage is marked by some disease.
Adaptation has been overcome. The body copes well, if forced to, during the adaptation stage, and the person might even feel better during the adaptation stages because of the adrenalin rush.
This could include elevated energy levels. There will, however, be a downside. It is followed by fatigue, depression, drowsiness, mood swings etc. .
Manic depression, too, is this up and down reaction to a substance one is allergic to.
If the taste buds on the tongue send a signal to the brain and the brain does NOT recognize the food as food but allergen, a not well understood scenario develops.
The stomach will not be triggered by the brain to produce hydrochloric acid and enzymes, stomach muscles will not be triggered to contract and expand to knead and mix the stomach contents, foods will not be converted into chyme, the pyloric valve might not be triggered to open which could lead to vomiting (as babies do with cows milk)
If the pyloric valve opens and the food enters the duodenum the pancreas might no be triggered to produce the juices necessary to neutralize the chyme, leading to duodenal ulcers, insulin might not be produced, or be ineffective with undigested sugars, leading to blood sugar problems, gall bladder might not be triggered to secrete bile, which could concentrate, leading to gall stones.
The acidity of the chyme will irritate the duodenal wall, which will lead to formation of duodenal ulcers.
Undigested nutrients of course can not be absorbed through the intestinal wall and those small enough to enter the bloodstream will be filtered out by the liver as toxins, overworking that organ.
Anything considered other than nutrient will be assumed to be a foreign invasion and will trigger an immune response, depleting the immune system and leading to disease.
The most common allergen to avoid are dairy and related products like cheese. There are other allergen of course but this being the primary suspect I recommend TOTAL avoidance.
I feel your pains and TMJ problems will cease if you follow this advise.
