hi
im 37, been having a gnawing pain on my left side under rib cage. It feels like
my stomach is burning up, sometimes the pain travels to my liver(i think).
When im laying down at night the pain radiates to my back and chest. I had
chest tightness along and had some trouble breathing normally. ive had this for 3 nights where i get up at 2am. When im standing up, the chest tightness goes away and i can breathe better. alot of hot iar in the stomach and esophagus.
stool is fine and no vomitting and a good appetite. Cant figure out what the heck
i got. Ive narrowed it down to ulcer, gallstones, stomach virus, and the C word.
i had blood work done on liver and that is normal. im going for endoscopy on feb 11th and i almost wetn to ER but decided to wait it out. What could this be?

Extremely eHealthy
The pain that is usually centered in the upper middle or upper left part of the belly and may feel as if it radiates through to the back is due to pancreatitis, inflammation of pancreas.
The pain, often begins or worsens after eating, and feel worse when a person lies flat on his or her back.
The attack of pancreatitis, usually, lasts a few days.
You may have at the same time a case of GERD.

Best wishes!
