Q: Stomach growling , pain and nausea

When my stomach growls from hunger if I don't eat within a few minutes I get nauseated and there is sharp pain. I also get very irritated. When I do eat it seems like it's only an hour or so when it starts again. I have tried different foods from proteins to starches to sugary things, unless I eat a full meal I can't seem to go for more than an hour without eating again. Then most times I have to go to the bathroom almost right away (loose stools). I have had my gallbladder removed. Any ideas??

This requires a visit to your gastroenterologist...

Something is going on in your digestive tract...

Agreed. Gastroenterologist is the way to go.

Tip: don't let them tell you it's IBS without having a bunch of tests done. IBS is a diagnosis that should only be given once other things are excluded. If they try to label you with that and send you home, ask for tests or go to another doctor.

I would ask for a test for H. Pylori, and then about ulcers. My doctor tried to tell me it was IBS, and I had the same symptoms as you. After a scope it was finally found out I had Pylori. Good Luck1
