Hi, mr girlfriend is suffering from some gastric problem. The doctor diagonsed her condition as rather 'serious'. The pills she taken in the past are gold coated in colour, which is very strong.
Just yesterday, her gastric act up again due to a late dineer. Her condition this time is much worse, and her family doctor advise her to take porridge this few days. She complain that her stomache will have a weird feeling, don't know pain or hungry, after taking the porridge. Her stomache also got alot of wind.
May I know how serious is her condition? and what food can i buy for her to eat?

Extremely eHealthy
Pain or burning feeling in upper abdomen just bellow the breast bone, during or soon after a meal can indicate a case of gastritis or stomach ulcer (the stomach acid produced during meal irritates the stomach lining defect or ulcer).
She may have additional symptoms like feeling bloated, belching, heartburn, early satiety, nausea, vomiting.
Chronic use of pills like non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs is risk factor for stomach lining irritation and defects.
Testing and treatment for H.pylori infection is important.

Best wishes!

Thanks Marija, her pain is indeed in the upper abdomen. The doctor had advise her to use a scope to enter into her body, but she did not want that, as she very afraid of the pain.
So i also not quite sure how i can help her except getting her to eat on time.
