Your doctor, by feeling your stomach could probably tell if you were pregnant in your second trimester (about 12 weeks into your pregnancy). At the beginning of your pregnancy, the embryo is only a couple cells big. The stomach rigidity could be caused by gas or muscle tone. Cramping and pain can be caused by rough sex, or not enough potassium. I wouldn't worry about pregnancy with your symptoms just yet.
