hi, my name is vagelis, and my dad diagnosed with stomach cancer, a month ago. he had gastrectomy, splinectomy and lymphnode removal. the histological examinations and biopsies came out yesterday and the news are not good. many of the lymphnodes were penetrated (18 out of the 36 removed). he will undergo chemotherapy starting in two weeks. doctors said that given the things go the right way he has 1-2 years with good quality of life. my dad is 61 years old very healthy overal, no smoking, drinking or bad foor habits. even after the surgery you could;t tell he had gone through a 4 hour op. now we are back home, after 10 days in the hospital and he is back to his normal life. does anyone has dealt with a situation that i described and whant to give me his/her point of you. all your comments are welcome. i hope health for everybode. thanks, vagelis.
