Doctor,

Few months back I had faced the same problem and vomited blood as well. But after medication, blood stopped. However, when I work very hard and breath heavily, I find it difficult to breath. Had a break without any difficulty and again few days back this pain started. The first night I couldnt even breath at all that I had to hold my breaths for longer moments.

When I inhale, I feel the pain in my stomach to the left side.

Please help me. I work in a resort and when I went to see the resort doctor, he said my lung is clear. But why am i feeling it so difficult. sometimes i get forced to hold my breath without exhaling. Sad

regards
adhu

Your lung may be clear but you could have something else going on. The fact that you were throwing up blood is not something to take lightly. It's good that the medication made it stop but you need a doctor that is going to find out what caused it and what is causing the pain. Are you able to go to another doctor for a second opinion? What about the ER when the pain gets bad?

The fact that you're throwing up blood means that either you are swallowing blood (are you coughing, at all? If you are, you should get your lungs reexamined, as well as your mouth and nose) or that you are having some kind of gastrointestinal problem, likely an ulcer of some sort. I'm not a doctor, so take this with a grain of salt, but I'm a biomedical engineering student, and you should definitely raise the possibility of the ulcer with your doctor.

Thanks to wendyrs and hank6280.

Wendyrs, I work in a tourist resort and we have a doctor there, but I call him a google-doctor. He use to search google for treatments when patients go to him. This time I am not vomiting blood, but the pain it too difficult to abide this time. Right now, I came back home island for medical purpose and today, a doctor asked me to do the urine test. I didnt do it yet. She also gave me an injection. Back in resort also, that google-doctor gave me a painkiller injection. I am looking forward to see few other doctors in the 2 days ahead.

hank6280, not coughing. previously when it happened, doctor said it was something related to gastrointestinal tract. sometimes i get so scared when it happens, i have to hold my breath without letting it go in or out. because if i do, i feel the pain in vain.

I look for more replies, perhaps, if an experienced doctor could give a reply, please. Sad
