So I have a long story that I would rather not discuss but involves my girlfriend of a long time sleeping with another guy. I had her get checked out 2 weeks ago but we had started having sex again anyway. We never use condoms as she is on the pill, I realize the error in my ways but trust me, i've been through enough over this. She received a call from her doctor and has learned that she has chlamydia. I'm assuming this means that I also have it? is there roughly any doubt considering she has it and i've had sex in the upwards of 5 times with her after she was tested (before the phone call)?

Second, as I am a very private person I wanted to know if there was any way I could possibly treat this without having to see a doctor or other medical staff? I'm presuming no already but if by any chance I happened to get my hands on 1000mg of Azithromycin and could confirm the legitimicy of the pills in question (2x 500mg) would it be such a horrible thing to treat myself in that manner as it is a form of treatment for chlamydia. I am not asking for anybody to condone this activity, but would there be any other issues besides the legality of this?

Also, just look for some straight input on the situation. Trust me this has caused alot of pain for me over the past few days and i do not need a lecture. Thank you.
