Birth Control Answer A4474
You have to do a home pregnancy test, first, to check if you are pregnant or not.

If you are not pregnant you can start taking birth control pills (combined monophasic) for the next 4 weeks so that you can avoid the bleeding during the first 3 weeks. If you like to avoid the period for more than 3 weeks you can start a second pills-pack right after you finish the 3rd week. So you can delay the period for 6 weeks. There is no guarantee that you will succeed.

There is no guarantee that by provoking the period now you won’t have another bleeding in the next 3 weeks.
