Q: steroids and sperm count ?

my boyfriend and i have been trying to conceive for close to 8 months and nothing. he has been taking steroids ( i don't know what type), he is a bodybuilder. can this be making his count low. his sperm isn't as cloudy as it should be, but i read that clear can be normal too. he is 22. can someone help me, please!!!!!!!!
