Q: sternum pains

i'm 16 years old and a couple of years ago a family member kicked me in my sternum as i was running towards her, i guess a reflex. well now i get sharp pains with a certain movement like when i'm about to sit down or bend over a certain way. i'm figuring it had something to do with that incident because it doesn't feel internal, it almost feels as if something is cracked, which affects my breathing. If anyone can please help, that would be great!

It is very possible something cracked when this occurred.
Have you had an x-ray or scan?
