Sexual Health - Women Forum - STD possibilities ?

my husband of 14 yrs had an affair with a girl who really gets around. Shortly after I had suffered with a god awful vaginal infection. (I had a complete radical hysterectomy 7 years ago, but kept my cervix). I am 38 yrs old. I noticed the first time I made love with him a foul or strange odor to his ejaculation - it just smelled different and strange (after 14 yrs a girl knows - but he had been away at work for 3 months, so I let it go for then). I immediately worried about clymaddia so I asked my doctor for a zpac and I seemed to get better but he showed no signs of infection and because I am post menopausal I was using a KY product with menthol for warming which potentially could have set off an infection. So I stopped using that product, and my doc gave me difuclan to battle the yeast set off by the antibiotic. Still no signs of anything in the hubby.

So I stopped having sex with him for a while up until the last few weeks. Again the smell of his stuff is still funky, and after sex he says he itches, and I itch - and it stinks down there for me too because of his stuff, and it makes my rectum area itchy too. Also, the last two times I have experienced some vaginal bleeding (but the doctor said because I am post menopausal it could be vaginal atrophy and recommended a water soluble menthol free and scent free lubricant which helped) but the rectal itching and irration is still there.

I also noticed, for the first time ever, a small - about the size of a baby's pinky finger tip round bump on his penis shaft - solid, not a blister, just a bump (did not look like a blister but then again all this std stuff is all new to me, I have never cheated in all the 14 years we have been married and typing this up is very embarrassing to me). I showed him and he blew it off like it was no big deal but I could tell it scared him.

I am mad cause I already took all these meds and now I have to go be embarrassed at a doctors all over again and drag his dumb rear end with me. What I need to know is what potential std's are we looking for? We have a lot of itchiness going on in this house - itchy feet, itchy hands, strange rashes on inner thighs and stuff - and we are towel sharers, (and we have children (can you pass you stuff by sharing towels?). I am very concerned and would like some advice.

I just want what whatever this is to be treated, to go away and to never return, and for a doctor to reiniterate the importance of using condoms to my husband should he ever be foolish enough to cross this line again and risk losing all of us.
